In G̶o̶d̶ Martin We trust
Imagine playing a football game without any tactics and strategy. This is exactly what we have done. After several months of creating Motiano we have already had with Martin several important discussions about the future of our project. However, we have never written the most important things down. After all, what can get wrong right? I know Martin for a very long time. He was sitting next to me for 3 years in high school and I know what to expect. But what if I move to Mars in 2037? Or what if Martin becomes unexpectedly a movie super star and he will have no time for Motiano?
Business is about trust and seeing the important stuff written down and signed by your hand is very powerful. Of course, there is never a 100% certainty even if you sign the contract but such a business plan can act as important negotiation instrument. Therefore, we decided to write one.
We downloaded a template from the web and started creating one. Suddenly, we realized there are a lot of matters to discuss and we had to do exactly that. We resolved several issues and laid down some plans for the future. From my point of view, the essential part is the discussion. You will see what and how the other one is thinking because you absolutely must trust the other person you do business with.
